Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. It is the UK’s professional body for surveyors and promotes standards in real estate, construction and infrastructure. Its oft-quoted monthly survey is used by the government, the Bank of England and other major bodies as a barometer of UK residential sales and lettings.
