I read Watson’s Daily on my computer before I start work or at morning break. I have encouraged my pupils to also sign up and we have an ‘economics in the news’ slot timetabled in every Thursday lesson.
Watson’s Daily covers a vast amount of information which covers many topics in the business and economic world which is useful for my general awareness of current situations and for my studies. It is also straight to the point as key points/summary of information can be seen in bold, which is very efficient.
I don’t read every day, but I try to read it at least 4 times a week. That’s why I think the weekly version is great for me, as I can catch up on anything I may have missed out on
I’ve been subscribed to Watsons Daily for more than half a year now and read it regularly. I have found it invaluable in giving me real world knowledge to apply to my business studies. Furthermore I prefer Watsons Daily to reading business news on larger networks as I find their news to be watered down and difficult to pick up key points from, whereas the Daily provides condensed information that is easier to absorb.

The ‘So What’ feature that he includes is helpful as it allows me to see what Mr Watson thinks of the news itself and if I don’t have as much background knowledge into some of the topics it allows him to explain its importance

I really enjoy the informal morning informers – I like the style, tone and content and the links to go deeper into your current awareness updates. The informal tone and style draws my attention more. I also like the fact it is a short summary of the news, but more informative and engaging than the “i” Newspaper. I read it to keep up to date with global affairs, and it assists me in either revealing stories that had (until reading Watson’s Daily) passed me by or by providing me with additional information and/or insight into the topics, which can bring a greater sense of realism (and ‘how does this affect me’) to the news

I think it’s a really useful tool. It helps to explain the news and also the impact that it is having. I’m very rushed and these articles allow me to keep up with some of the most important stuff of that day. I also found the yearly overview exceptionally helpful. It hugely helped me in expanding my knowledge of different countries and get a summary in my head of what has been going on and where it may lead
I read Watson’s Daily because I want to be able to stay up to date with the news and these news articles allow me to do that. I also think it’s interesting because you put across various opinions on things and it’s helpful to read those and decide whether I agree or have a different opinion

I’m a big fan of your Watson’s Daily. ***** recommended it to me when I joined my company as a grad this year. I like that you can get an idea of the day’s key stories very quickly, while still getting a nudge to consider their broader context. I tend to read it first thing in the morning alongside the FT website, Bloomberg etc. Sadly, reading it at my desk next to my colleagues means I’m usually not brave enough to explore the other news section, as intriguing as some of the captions sound…
I find Watson’s Daily a great source of information, particularly on days where I do not really have time to fully review the news myself. I would say that my favourite part of Watson’s Daily is the ‘So What’ section. It’s increasingly difficult to find relatively unbiased opinions in the ever more polar news environment, so being able to read your analysis is very useful, and often provides an interesting insight which I would not have considered
Watson’s Daily is great: concise, easy to digest and a great summary of the news of the day. In 5 minutes, you have a grip of the important movings and shakings. I read it – whenever I can – in the morning when it comes in. For me, it is helpful for overall knowledge of the day’s events and backs up other sources of news in an amusing and engaging way. I read it at work as soon as it comes in because sometimes snippets are useful to be borne in mind for the day ahead work-wise

I like Watson’s Daily – I wish someone would do something similar specifically for the health care industry (maybe they do but I haven’t seen anything written in such a reader-friendly way, with the ‘so what’ type commentary). I read it for interest. It tells me something of what’s going on in the business world that isn’t just what the BBC tells me is important!

I do like the concise and unbiased review method. A good way to keep in touch with recent news events, it saves me time in having to browse the online news sites.
It does pull together the main points very well and allows you to jump to articles by your links should you wish for further detail. The fun bit is also a nice touch
